PLC at Work® Initiative Overview

Schools are chosen through a competitive application process. A five-member leadership team will be identified to lead this work within the school. This intensive Solution Tree program spans three school years and includes an on-site needs assessment, leadership implementation academies, and web-based coaching. Participation in this program, funded by the state, is based on an application/selection process. This program is also made available to additional schools (five-member teams) at the expense of the school or district.
2021-22 PLC at Work® Cohort #3, Year 1: In partnership with Solution Tree, the WDE selected 16 schools for this cohort, and will provide continued leadership training around the PLC at Work® process. PLC at Work® focuses on three big ideas; a focus on learning, a collaborative culture and collective responsibility, and a results orientation.
2021-22 PLC at Work® Cohort #2, Year 3: In partnership with Solution Tree, the WDE selected 15 schools for this cohort, and will provide the targeted assistance based upon the needs of each individual school.
