A Schoolwide Program is a strategy for implementing comprehensive school change. A Schoolwide Program permits a high poverty school (40% or more of the student population identified as low-income) to re-design the entire educational program to serve all students. The common goal of a Schoolwide Program is to combine all allowable resources and funding in order to raise academic achievement for all students, thus maximizing the impact of Title I-A funding. The below links provide information regarding planning for a Schoolwide Program’s implementation, implementing the Schoolwide Program, and continually evaluating and revising the Schoolwide Program to ensure effectiveness.
