The Wyoming Department of Education is providing free, in-depth professional development cohorts through the Code HS platform to prepare Wyoming K-12 teachers to take the Praxis Computer Science Exam. The next cohort runs October 18, 2023 through January 31, 2024, and will meet virtually each Wednesday starting at 4 pm. Wyoming teachers who complete the entire course will receive a $200 stipend. The cohort model allows teachers to support each other by working through the course at the same pace. Teachers who participate are provided with on to one support, live lessons, exam prep, and networking opportunities outside their districts.
To be eligible to register, you should be a Wyoming K-12 public school teacher preparing to add a computer science endorsement to your teaching license. Learn more about the technical requirements of the CodeHS platform here.
