The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) will confidentially release results from the 2023 grades 3 through 10 English language arts and math WY-TOPP and WY-ALT, grades 4, 8, and 10 science WY-TOPP and WY-ALT, and grade 11 ACT assessments to school districts on Wednesday, July 19. Districts will have until Tuesday, August 1, to confidentially review the reports and record any inaccuracies by filling out this form.
District superintendents will use this link to verify that their staff has received and reviewed the data.
When the confidential review window closes, assessment data will be aggregated and then publicly released on the WDE website on Friday, September 1, 2023. The Superintendent will hold a joint Assessment and Accountability press event on Wednesday, September 6 at 11 a.m. to discuss the data. Districts will be provided confidential, embargoed aggregated reports at least 24 hours before the September 1 release.
Districts are asked to correct inaccuracies, such as WISER ID errors, and identify tested students who are missing from the file. The accuracy of this data is essential since it will be used to calculate school, district, and statewide aggregate assessment proficiency percentages and federal accountability results. Demographics or program fields like free and reduced lunch cannot be changed, as this data was reviewed and approved during the spring and end of year WDE684.
Data will be provided through the WDE’s secure District Data Reports portal. Persons with the following WyEd roles can access the reports: Superintendent, Principal, Assistant Principal, Assessment Coordinator, Special Ed Coordinator, Curriculum Coordinator, Accountability Coordinator, or Assessment Confidential.
To access the confidential student-level assessment reports, go to the WDE website Data Page. Under the Data Reports header on the left side of the page, click on the District Data Reports link. The confidential portal will default to the Assessment Confidential page. If you do not have the rights to access the report or need assistance logging into your account, please contact your district WyEd Administrator for assistance. If you are unsure who your district WyEd administrator is, click the Find WyEd Admin link in WyEdPRO under the support header. If you would like to reset your password, click on the forgot password link underneath the Find WyEd Admin link.

- July 19-August 1: Student Level Assessment Data review window.
- August 10-23: Confidential School Performance Report review window.
- September 1: Public release of Assessment Data and School Performance Reports.
- September 6: Superintendent Degenfelder’s joint assessment and accountability press event.
