The PLC process requires for collaborative teams to answer four questions related to student learning, including How will we know if our students are learning? As a result of this question, teams of teachers spend time creating, administering, and scoring common assessments in order to know next steps for instruction. This session will overview how to ensure that these team-developed assessments are valid, reliable, and fair and that they provide information that informs their instructional planning.
