08-14-2023 Career Development Facilitator Training Offered

The Wyoming Department of Education is offering Facilitating Career Development courses to provide districts with best practices when facilitating career development for multiple settings and ages. The courses will support the implementation of more robust career development programs in Wyoming schools and ensure consistency in the delivery of content and best practices.

Course completers will receive a certificate and be eligible to apply for the Global Career Development Facilitator credential as a Career Services Provider. Any school personnel that coordinate career development and exploration programming are encouraged to attend. The course covers the 12 competencies required for Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers to obtain the work-based learning endorsement, which allows for awarding student credit outside of their content area. The orientation and course closing require attendance via Zoom. Each participant must complete a separate form. Register here.
