The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) recognizes the impact of school nurses, ensuring all students are safe, healthy, and ready to learn. Districts are encouraged to observe National School Nurse Day on May 8, and celebrate locally during Wyoming School Nurse Appreciation Week from May 13–17.
Education stakeholders and school nurses are welcome to join in-person as Governor Mark Gordon designates Wyoming School Nurse Appreciation Week with a proclamation signing on May 16 at 11 a.m., Governor’s Ceremonial Conference Room, Wyoming State Capitol.
