03-11-2024 WDE Awards $4.45 Million to Support Family Engagement and Student Wellness

The Wyoming Department of Education has awarded $4.45 million to thirteen school districts through the Stronger Connections Grant created by the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. The grant supports student health and safety initiatives in high-need districts. 

Twenty applications were received totaling over $8.1 million and included requests to fund multi-tiered systems of support with an emphasis on student health and safety, family engagement, and activities to improve student mental health outcomes.

  • Carbon County School District #2 – $259,630.97
  • Crook County School District #1 – $178,237.17
  • Fremont County School District #14 – $434,000.00
  • Fremont County School District #24 – $427,490.97
  • Goshen County School District #1 – $449,444.34
  • Lincoln County School District #2 – $285,630.97
  • Niobrara County School District #1 – $450,000.00
  • Park County School District #1 – $219,580.97
  • Sheridan County School District #2 – $445,630.97
  • Sublette County School District #9 – $177,839.42
  • Sweetwater County School District #2 – $398,130.97
  • Teton County School District #1 – $416,150.00
