Registration is open for the WDE’s 2024 Embracing Literacy Conference. Keynote speakers will include Dr. Antonio Fierro, Dr. Kim St Martin, Dr. Terrie Noland, Jeanne Schopf, Kareem Weaver, Nancy Hennessy, Dr. Pam Kastner, and the Reading League.
The conference will be held in-person AND virtually:
- In-person, June 19-20, at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center, Laramie.
- Virtually, June 25-26, via Zoom.
The in-person conference fee is $160, which includes lunch and is limited to 200 participants. The virtual conference fee is $25. PTSB and UW credit is pending, one credit for in-person and one credit for virtual. Two credits are offered for attending both.

For registration, two steps are required:
- Complete this Google form.
- Upon completion of the form, registrants will be taken to Eventbrite to complete the Eventbrite registration.
NOTE: When registering through Eventbrite, attendees must register themselves. This will ensure attendees are added to the roster, receive zoom links, and receive a name badge and lunch at the in-person event. Registration closes May 31. Attendees completing registration will be automatically enrolled in the 2024 Embracing Literacy Conference Canvas course and have access beginning May 31.
