Join the Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) for an engaging and practical learning experience designed specifically for new special education teachers.

The Boot Camp will:

  • Deepen your understanding of IDEA 
  • Offer hands-on opportunities to develop appropriate IEP goals and services that support student success
  • Provide key tools, routines, and practices to help new teachers start strong

Whether you’re building your foundation or refining your skills, this boot camp is designed to help you start the year with confidence.

The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE), Special Programs Division, is pleased to announce a $250 scholarship opportunity for new SPED teachers attending the Boot Camp.

Educators may qualify for the $250 scholarship to cover the cost of registration if they meet one of the following criteria:

  • You are currently on an exception authorization
  • You are a new teacher with three years of experience or less

If you qualify, please complete the required information using the form. After your information is verified, a promo code will be emailed to you to use during registration, giving you free access to the Boot Camp.

If you do not qualify for the scholarship, please proceed directly to the registration link to complete your enrollment.

  • July 28th:
    • Registration: 8 – 9 AM
    • Boot Camp: 9 AM – 4 PM
  • July 29th:
    • Registration: 7:30 – 8 AM
    • Boot Camp: 8 AM – 3 PM
