The Ellbogen Language and Literacy Fellowship was established in collaboration with the Ellbogen Foundation to support Superintendent Degenfelder’s Wyoming Language and Literacy Initiative. This fellowship reflects a shared commitment to strengthening educator knowledge, advancing structured literacy practices grounded in the science of reading, and improving reading outcomes for Wyoming students statewide.
Through this collaborative scholarship, up to 100 Wyoming educators will receive sponsorship to pursue nationally recognized certification, validating their expertise in structured literacy. The fellowship honors educators’ dedication to professional growth and reinforces the Ellbogen Foundation’s mission to invest in educator excellence as a critical lever for strengthening reading achievement and long-term student success across Wyoming.
