The Wyoming Department of Education has awarded $4.45 million to thirteen school districts through the Stronger Connections Grant created by the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. The grant supports student health and safety initiatives in high-need districts.
Twenty applications were received totaling over $8.1 million and included requests to fund multi-tiered systems of support with an emphasis on student health and safety, family engagement, and activities to improve student mental health outcomes.
