The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) will confidentially release WY-TOPP and WY-ALT math, language arts, and science results, as well as ACT assessment results, to school districts on Monday, September 14. Districts will have until Friday, September 25, to review the reports confidentially and complete this form to record any inaccuracies.
District superintendents will electronically sign off once their staff completes the review.
When the confidential review window closes, assessment data will be aggregated, and districts will receive an email notice when the aggregates are confidentially available. Assessment data will be publicly released with school performance data on the WDE website, tentatively scheduled for the week of October 12. Aggregates are to remain embargoed until the WDE’s public release.
Districts are asked to correct inaccuracies, such as WISER ID errors, and identify students who were tested but are missing from the file. This data must be accurate because it will be used to calculate school, district, and statewide aggregate assessment proficiency percentages and federal accountability results. Demographics or program fields, such as free and reduced lunch, cannot be changed, as this data was reviewed and approved following the spring and end-of-year WDE684.
Data will be provided through the WDE’s secure District Data Reports portal. Persons with the following WyEd roles can access the reports: Superintendent, Principal, Assistant Principal, Assessment Coordinator, Special Ed Coordinator, Curriculum Coordinator, Accountability Coordinator, or Assessment Confidential.
Confidential student-level assessment reports can be accessed here. Log in with your WyEd credentials. The confidential portal will default to the Assessment Confidential page. If you can’t access the report or need help logging in, contact your district’s WyEd Administrator. Click here to reset your password.
