Join the Wyoming Department of Education in celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week from May 5-9.  This year, we’re honoring Wyoming’s exceptional teachers with a week-long celebration showcasing their creativity, resilience, and lasting impact in our communities.

Each day, the WDE will spotlight our teachers on social media—featuring videos from Superintendent Megan Degenfelder and 2025 Wyoming Teacher of the Year Morgan Hahn, a message from Senator Cynthia Lummis, and highlights from the Tour of Excellence. Visit us on Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn to join the celebration and share in the stories that make Wyoming teachers extraordinary.

Students, families, and community members are invited to participate online using the hashtag #WYWeLoveTeachers to celebrate their favorite teachers. Educators can join by using #WYILoveTeaching to share what inspires them in their profession. Add a fun twist to your posts with our custom Giphy stickers—just search for wyweloveteachers or wyiloveteaching.

Governor Mark Gordon will also issue a proclamation, officially recognizing the week and encouraging all Wyomingites to join in celebrating the educators who shape our future.

Download and share the Wy We Love Teachers  and Wy I Love Teaching images to help us spread appreciation far and wide. Let’s make this week a true celebration of the amazing educators who give their all every day.
