The WDE505 – Student Candidacy for the Seal of Biliteracy collection is open from April 7–25. Districts will only include students graduating in the spring. Districts may submit the collection if student test scores become available after the open period. If the student has been awarded the SoBL, it is mandatory to report this on the WDE950 – Graduated Senior Transcripts report that will take place from September 17 to October 24. For eligibility requirements, guidelines, and additional details, visit the SoBL webpage.

Districts must submit an order for seals and cords 30 days before graduation. Orders will be delivered at the Wyoming Curriculum Directors Association Conference in Casper on May 4-5. If a student tests but does not meet the proficiency requirements, and an order has already been placed, the district can retain the seal and cord for future use.

The SoBL Confidential Student Report allows district coordinators to track student progress by searching for information about students who have earned the Seal of Biliteracy within the district. This information is available in the WDE Confidential Portal for each year the SoBL has been offered and can be filtered for specific details.
