Outreach Lending Library

Our Outreach Library Services for the Deaf is a lending library containing materials and resources related to the education of children who are D/deaf or hard of hearing. These resources are free to check out and borrow for an identified length of time (length of time is dependent on the material).

  • Instructional materials related to Deaf education.
  • Sign language dictionaries, children’s signed videos, and signed stories DVDs.
  • Language development resources.
  • Interpreter training videos/books.
  • Auditory training resources/kits.
  • Assistive technology information(cochlear implants, hearing aids, FM systems).
  • Assessment/evaluation tools and kits.
  • Biographies by Deaf authors, parents of Deaf/HH Children, and children of Deaf parents.
  • Resources for parenting Deaf/HH children.
  • Shared Reading Program Materials.
  • WEII Plus Books (Supporting the Wyoming Early Intervention Initiative).
  • Materials related to students with multisensory impairments/deaf-blindness.

Wyoming Children’s Hearing Aid Program (WYCHAP): Funding for Hearing Aids for WYOMING Children Birth-12th Grade 

The WYCHAP is a fund that was established in 2012 by the Wyoming Legislature. The goal of WYCHAP is to provide access to hearing aids for children, birth through the end of their high school career, who are not insured or are under-insured.
