Join the Wyoming Department of Education in celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week, May 4-8, and honoring Wyoming’s exceptional teachers with a week-long celebration showcasing their creativity, resilience, and lasting impact in our communities.
Governor Mark Gordon will issue a proclamation recognizing the week. Activities will include daily spotlights on social media—featuring videos from Superintendent Degenfelder and 2026 Teacher of the Year, Michelle Roundy, along with photos highlighting 2025-26 District Teachers of the Year.
Visit Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn to join the celebration and share in the stories that make Wyoming teachers extraordinary. Communities are invited to participate by celebrating favorite teachers online using the hashtag #WYWeLoveTeachers. Educators can join by using #WYILoveTeaching to share inspiration. Add a fun twist to posts with custom Giphy stickers. Download and share the Wy We Love Teachers and Wy I Love Teaching images.
