The annual Special Education Self-Assessment window will be open on October 1 and will close on December 1.
The self-assessment process is a critical component of the general supervision and monitoring system. It allows districts to review local special education data, evaluate regulatory compliance, and identify instructional practices that support student success.
Districts must ensure all indicator compliance checklists and local data reviews are thoroughly documented within the system prior to the closing date.
