The Wyoming Department of Education has updated the resources on the Lexile & Quantile Measures webpage, which includes links and details on the Lexile and Quantile supports available to parents and educators. Students in grades 3-10 receive a Lexile measure for ELA and a Quantile measure for math from the Wyoming Test of Proficiency and Progress (WY-TOPP). Lexile and Quantile measures can be used to inform instruction, monitor growth, and support student learning at school and at home.
Educators can use the same Lexile & Quantile resources as parents, also linked on the WDE Resource website, as well as find additional resources that require a login. All Wyoming educators receive free access to Lexile and Quantile resources. Contact the district WISE coordinator for login assistance.
