Physical education- This course helps students develop a positive attitude toward physical activity that leads them to adopt a lifelong healthy, active lifestyle. This course provides students with the opportunity to learn a variety of sports and sport related movements as well as health and fitness concepts. Physical education also teaches important life skills about teamwork, competition, and ethical behavior through activities.

Exploring Technology (grade 2) course enables students to explore topics of interest related to technology systems and processes.

Credit Recovery. Students apply math to solve real-world problems, reinforcing key concepts. Themes include data analysis, math modeling, and personal finance. Topics cover statistics, probability, graphing, regression, finance, and budgeting. Students also use algebra and geometry models to solve problems. Proficiency is assessed through frequent online and offline tests and class participation. Project units allow practical skill application. Prerequisite: Algebra 1 and Geometry completion.

Exploring Technology (grade 7) course enables students to explore topics of interest related to technology systems and processes.

Language Arts (grade 1) courses build upon students prior knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, word usage, and the mechanics of writing, and include the four aspects of language use: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Typically, these courses use various genres of literature to improve reading skills, and they link writing exercises for different purposes to those reading selections. Specific content depends upon state standards for grade 1.

Exploring Fine Arts (grade 7) course explores different forms of art. Any subset or all of the visual arts, music, drama, theater, dance, and literature may be addressed in the curriculum for these courses. Students observe the works of others and participate in or produce art themselves.
