The School Nurse Clinical Education and Training with the Children’s Hospital Colorado School Health Team will occur on November 11 in Cheyenne. This workshop is designed to equip nurses with the advanced knowledge and confidence in supporting children with special healthcare needs. The training will include nine hands-on stations focused on the most common health conditions seen in schools. Learn more and register here.

Children’s Hospital Colorado is an approved provider of nursing continuing professional development by the ANCC, and attendees can earn 6.75 nursing contact hours. The cost is $100 and includes a take-home training kit. Employers or school districts may provide professional development reimbursement. This opportunity is available to school nurses, childcare health consultants, pediatric nurses, public health nurses, and home health nurses.
