The WDE949 9th Grade Transcripts and the WDE950 Graduated Student Transcripts collection window opens September 17. WDE949 transcripts are due by November 28, and WDE950 transcripts are due by October 24.

Districts must report 2024-25 WDE949 Grade 9, 10, and 11 transcripts for all grade 9, 10, and 11 students, plus the WDE950 transcripts for all students who graduated in the 2024-25 school year. Districts can include any student who earned their diploma by September 15, 2025, in the 2024-25 graduation cohort. The WDE949 transcripts will be used to track progress on Hathaway and CTE concentrator status. This will assist districts in identifying students not on target to earn the postsecondary readiness indicator, allowing intervention.

Changes occurred in the 2024-25 school year transcript collection, which became effective in December 2024, and were designed to help the agency identify Hathaway Scholarship levels. The WDE has expanded the Scholarship Course Indicator to include more subject areas and added the Percent Hathaway Course Requirement (which is optional) to identify the percentage of a Hathaway subject indicator a course meets. The Hathaway subject code FLA (Foreign Language) was retired, and the new codes WL1 (World Language One) and WLA (World Language Additional) were added. With the exception of the new world language codes, the new codes are optional. All new elements and codes will be required in the 2025-26 transcripts. Review the guidebooks for additional information. School staff can watch this video for more details.
