The Wyoming Patriot Schools Program is about celebrating schools that go the extra mile to build community, honor our country, and develop student character. The work schools do every day to shape students into thoughtful, responsible neighbors is worth recognizing.

This voluntary initiative is designed to shine a light on individual schools that show true excellence in civic education, patriotic observances, and community engagement.

Applications will be accepted during August and September each year, and the inaugural awardee schools will be recognized Veterans Day, November 11, 2026.

Recognition Levels

Recognition is awarded to individual schools, not districts. Each school must apply independently. Schools may reapply in subsequent years to maintain recognition or to achieve Distinguished status.
