The Wyoming Department of Education Special Education Division – Deaf/Hard of Hearing Team is hosting monthly online meet-ups for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in Pre-K through 7th grade. Students can connect, learn more about their hearing loss, gain important self-advocacy skills, and nurture social connections. These Zoom meet-ups will be on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 1:00-1:45 p.m. beginning September 17.
For students in 8th through 12th grade, the new Zoom Launchpad Transition meet-ups will be held on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 11:00-11:45 a.m. beginning September 10. Students will connect with peers, gain valuable self-advocacy tools, and build the confidence needed to launch successfully into life after high school.
