The 2018 Wyoming Social Studies Content and Performance Standards are up for review in the Standards Review Process. The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) is collecting community input via this survey for the committee’s consideration during its review.
The WDE seeks Wyoming educators, parents, business, and community members interested in reviewing the Wyoming Content & Performance Standards for Social Studies. Those interested in serving on the Social Studies Standards Review Committee should complete the Call for Participants Survey by December 12. Completing the survey expresses interest in participating, but does not commit anyone to serve on the review committee. Standards review committee members will be chosen based on diversity in experience, role, region, and school size. Teachers of elementary, middle school, and high school are needed, as well as Native American and business representatives. All who apply will be notified of their selection status by early January.
