This 7th grade exploratory class designed to help improve students' basic art skills; drawing, painting and sculpting, design artwork using a variety of media and techniques, develop students' creativity and self-expression, and recognize and use the art elements (line, shape, color, value, form).

Students will learn and be able to use economic thinking, problem solving, and logic in solving business problems. This course emphasizes the role of free markets in determining economic well-being. Students will learn the fundamentals of microeconomics including supply, demand, and pricing, along with the basics of macroeconomics: Monetary Policy, Fiscal Policy, Money, Supply and the role of government in stabilizing and growing an economy.

Integrated Mathematics I courses emphasize proficiency in skills involving numbers and operations, algebra, geometry, statistics, mathematical modeling, and probability.

Fingerprints. Blood spatter. DNA analysis. The world of law enforcement is increasingly making use of the techniques and knowledge from the sciences to better understand the crimes that are committed and to catch those individuals responsible for the crimes.

Physical Science includes the study of the structures and states of matter. Topics include forms of energy, waves, magnets, and physical and chemical interactions.

Students explore and understand the ways in which science and technology change and improve society. Students evaluate problems, propose solutions, and create models becoming scientists, inventors, and problem solvers.

Life Science covers the basic principles of life and life processes. Topics include cells, species, ecosystems, reproduction, and genetics.

Students will investigate coastal and marine systems. Students will learn about the chemical and physical properties of these systems and the interrelationships that surround them.
