Math 6
In 6th grade math students use their mathematical thinking and skills to solve a variety of problems. Students use multiple methods to solve problems and to continue to develop their mathematical communication skills. Students begin working through simple functions and more complicated data sets as they apply previous knowledge to real world problems. Units in this course include ratios and proportional relationships, number systems, expressions and equations, geometry, statistics and probability.
