Title IV, Part A is a flexible block grant that authorizes activities in three broad areas:
- Offering well-rounded educational experiences to all students.
- Activities that foster safe, healthy, supportive, and drug-free environments and support student academic achievement.
- Increasing access to personalized, rigorous learning experiences supported by technology.
Activities supported by state-level Title IV-A funds are contingent upon continued funding by the federal government.
The Stronger Connections Grant provides a state-level reserve of funds for activities supporting safe and healthy students.
