The Wyoming Department of Education is seeking teachers to review assessment items for the WY-ALT test. Participants will receive a stipend of $150 per day, plus travel and lodging reimbursements to panel members traveling from outside of Cheyenne. Apply by completing this survey by 11:59 p.m., April 14.
Review committees are:
- WY-ALT Math Standard Setting Review (set new cut scores).
- WY-ALT Content Item Review (math, science, and ELA).
- WY-ALT Fairness Item Review (math, science, and ELA).
The Math Standard Setting Review will be held July 16–18 in Cheyenne. Reviewers can be any general education educator, special education educator, content specialist, academic coach, curriculum director, or administrator. Participants will contribute to the setting of proficiency standards for the WY-ALT Mathematics assessments for grades 3–10.
The Content and Fairness Reviews will be held July 29–31 in Cheyenne. Reviewers will evaluate assessment items for content alignment and potential accessibility or bias issues.
