The Wyoming Department of Education and Quality Matters have provided a variety of Professional Development (PD) workshops and courses available for all Wyoming teachers, while funds last. Learn more about these PD offerings.
These opportunities will help teachers improve their instruction in a virtual classroom. A set of specific courses will fulfill the requirements of the Teaching Online Certificate and can lead to the PTSB Virtual Educator endorsement. This PD also satisfies the annual 7-hour PD requirement for all Wyoming virtual education teachers. Face-to-face classroom teachers who utilize a Learning Management System can also benefit from courses that help them structure content to maximize student learning, usability, and accessibility.
