The WY-TOPP Summative Assessment Window will close on May 8. All closing tasks must be completed successfully to ensure proper test administration.
Visit the WDE Educators Resource WY-TOPP page (log-in required) for general resources for WY-TOPP preparation and administration.
Test security is of the utmost importance before, during, and after testing. For more information about necessary assessment security measures, refer to the Wyoming Assessment Security Guide.
Non-Participation Data Requirement
Districts are reminded that school officials must assign a special code in TIDE for any assigned tests that students do not start or complete. These codes, found on the Test Status Code Report, indicate the reason for the incomplete test. Review this guide to aid in the selection of the correct non-participant code. The accurate and timely assignment of these codes is crucial for test record integrity.
Cambium System Access
Access to the entire Cambium assessment system will end on June 30. Download any data to be retained from those systems prior to that date. This includes preliminary 2026 ELA assessment results. Also see the previous WDE Update on the Transition for the WY-TOPP Authoring Tool.
Math and Science Scores
- To ensure the accuracy of student results under Wyoming’s updated, reduced Math and Science standards, the WDE is performing a rigorous data validation and standard-setting process for these assessed content areas. Math and Science scores for Spring 2026 are expected to be available in August 2026 in the Confidential Portal.
- Individual student reports for Math and Science scores will no longer include domain-level reporting due to the updated, reduced standards.
