CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Charter School Authorizing Board (WCSAB) seeks public comment regarding two new charter school applications for the 2025-26 school year. Three schools are currently board authorized and operating in Wyoming.

Applications have been accepted from American Preparatory Academy of Alpine and Vitalis Charter Academy in Cody.

For each applicant, the WCSAB will hold both a Capacity Interview and a Public Hearing. A Capacity Interview is an opportunity for the authorizer to ask clarifying questions of the proposed schools. A Public Hearing is for the public at large to provide comment.

In-person meetings will be held (with a virtual option).
