Work Experience 2A
This course offers credit for a work-based learning experience (employment, internship, apprenticeship, etc.) of 60+ hours. Goals and career tasks are set by the student, teacher, and/or employer, with payment not required. Weekly check-ins include field study or workplace discussions. Students meet with Stride Success Coaches twice per semester, complete a Targeted Job Search, and a Gap Analysis. Monthly proof of hours worked must be submitted through verifiable methods like work verification, paystub, or electronic timesheet. This course may be repeated for credit.
