This course emphasizes the use of inductive and deductive reasoning along with the development of a geometric language, visualization skills, area and volume of two-dimensional and three-dimensional objects, congruence, similarity, right triangle trigonometry, number patterns, angle relationships, Pythagorean Theorem, properties of circles and polygons, and the integration of algebra and geometry.
