Spanish I*
Spanish I provides students with a strong foundation in the Spanish language and its cultural influences. Students develop skills in pronunciation, basic grammar, vocabulary, and conversational Spanish while learning to communicate in real-world situations. Topics include greetings and introductions, asking and answering questions, present-tense verb conjugations, describing people and activities, expressing likes and dislikes, and building everyday vocabulary. Through interactive lessons that incorporate visual, auditory, reading, and speaking activities, students gain confidence in both written and spoken Spanish while developing an appreciation for Spanish-speaking cultures.
