Spanish II builds upon the foundation established in Spanish I by introducing more advanced vocabulary and grammatical concepts. Students explore reflexive verbs, idiomatic expressions, and the present progressive, preterite, and imperfect tenses while expanding their ability to communicate in Spanish. The course emphasizes expressing preferences and possession, discussing past events, asking questions, and describing and comparing people, places, and experiences. Through continued practice in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, students strengthen their language skills and deepen their understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures.
