Concurrent Enrollment Course through Eastern Wyoming College. Three (3) college credits earned upon successful completion of class. Semester 2. Students apply math to solve real-world problems, reinforcing key concepts. Themes include data analysis, math modeling, and personal finance. Topics cover statistics, probability, graphing, regression, finance, and budgeting. Students also use algebra and geometry models to solve problems. Proficiency is assessed through frequent online and offline tests and class participation. Project units allow practical skill application. Prerequisite: Algebra 1 and Geometry completion.
