Personal Fitness I
In this course, students learn and practice principles of fitness, wellness, and health to develop habits of healthy living. Guided by their text book, Fitness for Life, students will explore topics that include the physiology of diet and exercise, bio-mechanics, and team dynamics. They will apply their knowledge in daily fitness activities as well as assignments that include personalized exercise and diet plans that develop students’ self-assessment skills. the varied activities also reinforce how physical fitness catalyzes emotional and mental well-being, self-esteem, and communication skills.
