National Security
This course is a Project Based Learning course (PBL) and is designed as an exploration of a career in law. In this course, students explore basic concepts in the broad areas within the National Career Clusters® Framework, as well as career options in various clusters. Students study the concepts of national security, treaties, international security, the rules of engagement, The Patriot Act, Edward Snowden, the Geneva Convention, how intelligence is collected, natural disasters, terrorism, preparing for the future of security, and more. Students complete projects to develop a deeper understanding of the roles these career functions play.
