Music 3 is for students who completed K12’s Beginning Music 2. Travel the world through music with Spotlight on Music, a hands-on course featuring singing, dancing, virtual instruments, listening maps, authentic recordings, and recorder playing. The six units are organized into Spotlight on Concepts, Music Reading, and Celebrations. Students learn musical elements like duration, pitch, tone color, and cultural context while exploring global music. They also read music and study beat, meter, rhythm, melody, harmony, dynamics, tempo, style, and more, applying skills through seasonal and celebratory songs.
