Students will investigate the dynamic processes at play within the Earth’s fluid atmosphere and how these processes produce weather. Students will learn about the origin and evolution of Earth’s atmosphere, the structure and characteristics of the atmosphere, the Earth/Sun relationship and its influence on the seasons solar and terrestrial radiation, the hydrologic cycle the gas laws, global circulation, weather systems and weather maps.
