Math 3 B

In Math 3 B, the student will develop division fluency, apply multiplication and division to solve real-world problems, and learn to find the perimeter of shapes. They will measure time, volume, and mass, explore fractions and compare them, interpret data using graphs and line plots, and classify and draw quadrilaterals. Concepts are developed through mathematical processes, such as problem-solving, communicating, representing, and making connections. By building both conceptual knowledge and procedural fluency, students strengthen their mathematical thinking and are better equipped to solve a variety of real-world problems. Portfolios in this course encourage students to explore and apply their understanding and creativity by developing original products that demonstrate mastery of targeted skills.
