Internship 1
This course awards credit for a work-based learning experience (employment, internship, apprenticeship, etc.) of 60+ hours. Goals and career tasks are set by the student, teacher, and/or employer, though payment is not required. It includes weekly check-ins for field study or workplace discussions. Students meet with Stride Success Coaches twice per semester, complete a Targeted Job Search, and a Gap Analysis. Proof of hours worked must be submitted monthly via verifiable methods like work verification, pay stubs, or timesheets. This course may be repeated for credit.
