In English Language Arts II, students focus on literature, grammar, and composition. They examine the different elements of a story, including plot, setting, character, narrator, and voice. Throughout the course, students also study various parts of speech, readings, and poetry. English Language Arts 10 presents students with many different types and styles of writing in order to provide a thorough examination of language and literature.
