English Essentials 10 B
Recovery English 10 Semester 2 is generally offered during the summer and follows K12’s English 10 Summit course. It provides interactive instruction in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language, focusing on diverse genres and their elements. Students learn to read, interpret, and analyze culturally and historically significant literature and nonfiction appropriate for grade 10. They practice narrative, informative, and argument writing, deliver presentations, and participate in peer discussions. As a credit recovery course, students must have completed English 10 Semester 1 and may test out of lessons to advance more quickly.
