ELA 4 Summit offers an integrated literacy program combining reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and spelling, with dedicated keyboarding practice. The 12 units each focus on a key area—reading, writing, or word study. In reading workshops, students explore diverse genres through independent reading and activities. Writing workshops use model texts to guide students through the writing process. Grammar and mechanics are applied during revision. Word study builds vocabulary through related word groups, while spelling instruction emphasizes patterns that support reading and writing fluency.
