Explore child-care roles and responsibilities and discover why early childhood education matters. You’ll learn the rules and regulations of child-care facilities, how to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment, and understand how to plan meals and menus for children. You will also study the various stages of early childhood development, including physical, cognitive, language, and social growth and how to recognize developmental milestones and delays.
