Digital Photography I
In this Digital Photography I course; students will learn the basic camera functions of a point and shoot camera. The purpose of this course is for students to develop an artistic eye when taking photographs. Focus will be on using the elements of art and the principles of design through composition, learning aspects such as lead in lines and the rule of thirds. Students will also learn how to utilize Adobe Photoshop, considered a digital version of a darkroom. Students will also gain an understanding of how photography is applicable to real life and associated careers. *It is strongly recommended this course be taken before Yearbook.
