Cultural Anthropology
Students will learn about diverse cultures, religions, languages and regions than the traditional World Cultures Course. Specifically, learners will be exposed to Indigenous and Contempoirary Cultures and Cultural Products from Africa, South America, the Carribean, Asia and Oceania. The purposes of this course are: to build cultural proficiency, draw comparisons between learners’ culture and the culture being studied, and to demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between both the perspectives and practices and perspectives.
