Consumer Math A CR
Consumer Math (A) Credit Recovery is a course focuses on the mathematics involved in making wise consumer decisions. Students explore the many ways in which mathematics affects their daily lives. The first semester will cover paychecks and wages, taxes, insurance, budgets, bank accounts, credit cards, interest calculations, and comparison shopping. This course is designed for students who are recovering credit in this subject area. Instruction is individualized, competency-based, and focused on mastery of the Wyoming Content Standards. Students progress at a flexible pace while completing targeted instruction and assessments aligned with the original course. Credit is awarded upon successful demonstration of proficiency.
